Civil
I accept instructions in a variety of claims from commercial litigation to property disputes requiring written advice & representation.
My practice involves acting for parties in landlord & tenant disputes & more general property litigation acting for businesses, landlords, HMO licence holders & property owners. I also have experience of assisting clients challenge parties in the Property Chamber after references from HM Land Registry including adverse possession claims or other proprietary rights disputes.
I regularly attend the High Court on complex and high value detailed assessment of costs. I have advised and represented clients in some of the first contested hearings regarding the MOJ Portal & costs budgeting under the new CPR regime.
I also undertake work providing advice in more general areas of civil litigation including insolvency, consumer credit, medical law & contentious probate.
Criminal
I appear in the Crown Court & Magistrates' Courts across the country acting in cases involving all types of criminal offence and confiscation proceedings. Furthermore, I undertake defence Court Martial work.
I undertake all aspects of motoring law with over a decade practising as as specialist road traffic lawyer.
Away from work I'm a keen sailor on the racing machine: Fatjax. In the past year or so I have competed with the British sailing team and in the international Rolex Fastnet Race & was the 3rd British boat over the line (17th out of over 300 yachts including pro teams).
